It's Givemas in Naperville!
Waident Technology Solutions, headquartered in Naperville, a technology support and cybersecurity company, is excited to announce “Givemas”- an initiative dedicated to giving back to the Naperville area community. Waident is thrilled to partner with local charities and nonprofits to support the invaluable work they and their volunteer staff do by giving back to them. And it will be our second year in a row!
Givemas kicks off with a looooong semitruck getting to Waident’s Naperville office all the way from Oshkosh, Wisconsin! The truck is loaded with giant pallets stuffed with overstock and shelf-pulled merchandise from Target, Home Depot and Amazon, to name a few. Waident staff will then be setting up a pop-up store on December 4 at its Naperville office (1809 N. Mill St., Ste. A) and inviting community partners, charities and their volunteer staff to shop, for free.
What this is all about
At Waident, we believe giving back goes above writing a check. It’s about sharing your time, creativity, and energy to make a real difference. When Givemas began in 2004, our goal was simple: bring local nonprofits together to support those in need and celebrate the volunteers who make it all possible. Givemas is a true testament to what collaboration and compassion can achieve.
Together, last year’s Givemas brought together 12 local nonprofits, including Loaves & Fishes, KidsMatter, Indian Prairie School District, Journey’s (a homeless shelter), Community Access Naperville, Bridge Communities, and Alive Center, among others. Together, these organizations, along with Waident distributed over $85,000 worth of goods directly to their staff, volunteers, and community members in need.
Givemas Pop-up Store
Givemas is powered entirely by the hands and hearts of our employees: from engaging with nonprofits and setting up the pop-up store to sharing our holiday decorations, dressing up as magical characters, and even driving a semi-truck from Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Waident’s pop-up store will open its doors on Dec 4 at its Naperville office (1809 N. Mill St., Ste. A), where community partners, charities and their volunteer staff are invited to shop for free.
With goods ranging from essential supplies to thoughtful gifts, Waident’s Givemas aims to bring joy and resources to those who need it most.

What items are going to be distributed?
The items vary from clothes and technology to toys and cleaning supplies. You can come pick what your organization needs and we encourage volunteers to pick something for themselves. It’s Givemas after all!
