I watch TED videos when I get the chance and often I see ones that really make an impact. You know, the time you see something and it sticks with you for a lifetime and you end up talking about it to others. Waident sponsors TEDxNaperville and have seen some amazing speakers and rebroadcast TED videos. I figured I would start sharing some of my favorite TED videos. Enjoy.
Joe Smith: How to use a paper towel – This is a great short video on how to conserve paper towels. It really works! Now every time I wash my hands and need to dry them with a paper towel, it do this routine and think “shake and fold”.
Ron Finley: A guerilla gardener in South Central LA – Great talk on how you can use desolate urban space as gardens and how it can help the neighborhood and the people living in it. It is really compelling and makes you wonder why cities are not taking advantage of this type of concept.
Gunnar Branson: Moore’s Law of Real Estate – Amazing TEDxNaperville talk that weaves real estate into history and today’s new needs. This video is a must see.
John Coyle: If at First You Don’t Succeed… – I loved this TEDxNaperville talk about how sometimes it makes sense to choose to quit rather than try harder. This talk and the concepts have stuck with me in other areas of life. This is what TED talks are all about.
