Interesting Applications for the Month

Jungledisk (http://www.jungledisk.com/) – This is a cloud based file storage system that allows you to store, share, and sync files. More importantly, it works and acts just like a local hard drive so it is very easy and intuitive to use.

smartsheet (http://www.smartsheet.com/) – This is a cloud based project management platform with a lot of interesting features and benefits. Microsoft Project was never intuitive and unwieldy to use for simple or large projects. smartsheet is a very powerful tool to help manage a lot of business needs AND it is easy to use and very effective producing concise reports.

Microsoft Live Mesh (https://www.mesh.com/) – This is another cloud based system that syncs your files to multiple machines. It includes 5 gigs of free space, allows you to share the files with friends, and even includes the ability to remote control any of your machines. Now if it would only stream video and music files, it would be perfect.

humyo (http://humyo.com/) – Yet another cloud based backup and sync platform, but this one includes 10 gigs of free space, you can share and sync files, and will also stream video content. I have not tried this system yet, but I think I’m going to give it a whirl.
